Trip Cost
More to consider
This price includes transportation (ground transport in Hawaii, unless otherwise noted), hotel, educational activities, entrance to various activities and a good portion of meals.
It costs a lot to get all of our equipment there
That cost is shared by all participants
You may have been to Hawaii before, but not with all of your friends
You may be able to do a similar trip, but not with the unique educational activities and not with all your friends
We learn a lot about working together on this trip
One more VERY important thing to consider...
Please take donations to the Portola High School Instrumental Music Program into consideration before any trip payments.
This trip is only possible through continued support of the music program. If the boosters cannot meet their fundraising goals, it may not be feasible to participate in trips, like Hawaii, in the future.
Please keep in mind that your donation to the boosters is tax-deductible.
The suggested donation is :
Band/Orch - $300 Fall MB/CG - $600 Jazz - $200 Winter CG - $500
Per Student Cost - Excludes Airfare**
Quad Room: $2,112.00
Triple Room: $2,205.00
**Airfare will be confirmed later once group schedules and fares are confirmed. A rough estimate is $500-700 per ticket.
