Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Music Boosters General Meeting on October 2nd! As always, we covered our current financial status, gave a big thanks to our dedicated volunteers and generous donors, and shared important information about upcoming October events. We also addressed some questions raised by parents during the meeting.
For those who couldn’t make it, you can download the meeting minutes here to catch up on what was discussed.
Exciting News: "Themed Boosters General Meetings" Starting in November!
We recognize that our general meetings often follow the same format each month, and while this keeps everyone up to date, we’d like to make our meetings even more valuable and engaging for our parents. That’s why we’re introducing a new format – “Themed Boosters General Meetings” – beginning in November!
Each month, we’ll focus on a specific theme or topic, chosen to provide practical, relevant information that can benefit you and your students. Themes might include insights from alumni on the audition process, live demonstrations where current students play an instrument for you to guess, or introductions to coaches explaining how they connect with students and help them grow musically.
We’ll announce the theme for the next month’s meeting soon, along with a call for questions from parents about the topic. This will allow us to address your interests directly during the meeting. We’re also open to your suggestions for future meeting themes – let us know what topics you’d like to see covered!
Our hope is that these themed meetings will offer even more value and foster stronger involvement in our Boosters community. Stay tuned for updates on our next meeting’s theme, and as always, thank you for your ongoing support and engagement!
