September Wrap-up: A Month of Dedication and Harmony!

September was a busy month for the PHS Music Boosters, filled with exciting events and activities. Here’s a look back at what we accomplished!

1st Boosters General Meeting (9/4)

  • We kicked off the year with our first Boosters General Meeting on September 4th.

  • Shared important updates on this year’s plans, budget, and more.

  • Missed it? The meeting minutes are available for those who couldn’t attend.

Music Boosters Meet & Greet at Back to School Night

  • During Back to School Night, we hosted a Parents Meet & Greet with Music Boosters.

  • It was a great opportunity for parents to meet each other, get to know the directors, and learn more about our music program.

Home Football Games (9/6 & 9/20)

  • We had two home football games in September, where our amazing parent volunteers helped the marching band:

    • Assisting with moving equipment to the field.

    • Preparing water for the students.

  • During the halftime shows, our marching band wowed the crowd with their performances. On 9/20, they introduced props for the show, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers.

Volunteers

  • Volunteer work continued throughout the month, and while there’s still some work to do, we’ve made significant progress thanks to our amazing parent volunteers.

  • Huge thanks to the 40 volunteers who worked over 357.5 hours to make it happen.

Here are the names of those who helped this month:

    • Special shout-out to Kye for preparing donuts for the students after the 9/20 home game. The kids were tired and hungry after the show and thoroughly enjoyed the treat!

A Big Thank You!

Without the continued support from our volunteers and donors, we wouldn’t be able to provide these enriching experiences for our kids. Your efforts and contributions directly impact our music program, so thank you for everything you do!
